Students of N.S.S.  St. Mary’s College had made position not only in B.U. University but in State. St. Mary’s  N.S.S. Volunteers got selected for adventure camp.

Blood donation camp is held every year students actively participate and     take keep interest in donation. many times during emergency students go and donate       blood outside city also and them save life. of others 

-       one day Historical , educational & environment trip is held  at least three time in a year.

-         Plantation program  at least 2 times on large scale.

-         N.S.S. Day celebration cultural activities

-         HIV/ AIDS Awareness programme along with sally & workshop.

-         Red Rebbin club is also seeming along with N.S.S.

-         Women empowerment programme through rally & seminar

NSS Activities and Achievements Session 2025-26

 

30th March 2026 “One day camp to Historical Place Ram Nagar Situated B/W Barrighat & Chaapkheda”

One day camp was organized under guidance of PO. Prof. Arvind Dwivedi & PO Prof. Deepa Rathore as per instructions of Director Fr. Sinto & NSS BU Bhopal. In Historical place “Ram Nagar” situated b/w Chaapkheda & Barrighat. 

 

 

25th March 2026 “Providing Water & Food to Speechless Creatures (Birds) in College Campus Spreading Compassion towards Nature”

Under Ganga Jal Sambhardhan Abhiyan Volunteers of NSS placed water & food under shaddy trees to get food & water to speechless creature thereby spreading compassion towards nature. 

 

 

24th March 2026 “World TB day”

As per instructions of District Hospital Red ribbon club rally was organized from District Hospital via main streets reached to Gandhi Chowk (Neem Tal) where volunteers have given slogans for Tuberclosis  free India, with the help of Banners & Pamplets. Thereafter Nukkad Natak was played by volunteers of different colleges and people were made aware about the facilities given to people suffering from TB.

 

 

23rd March 2026 “Shahid Divas celebration”

NSS unit of college celebrited Shahid Divas on 23rd March on the occasion sacrifice of freedom fighters Shahid Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev by keeping 2 minutes silence and focusing on the life of all three above by PO Prof. Deepa Rathore. There after short documentary movie was shown to students about the work of all above.


 

16th March 2026 “Welcoming state Camper Palak”

NSS state Camper Palak banitkar of B.Sc. first year was honored and welcome by Director Fr. Sinto, Prinicpal Dr.  Dheerendra Sachan, PO Deepa Rathore by words of appreciation after returning from NSS leadership state camp organized at Chitrakoot district Satna.  Palak shared her experience with volunteers. All staff along with volunteers wished best for her future endeavour.


 

13th March 2026 “Sensitization and Awareness program visit to old age home”

As per instruction of Director, senior sensitization and awareness program was organized. Ms. Malti Lodhi from (Social justice Samajik nyay pradhikaran vibhag) awared students and volunteers about welfare act 2009 for taking care of senior citizens and parents and about punishment. Thereafter NSS volunteers visited old age home and meet senior citizens living there and distributed fruits to them.  In the morning program about 100 students and staffs were present along with Sr. Prabha and HODs.


 

8th March 2026 “Women’s Day celebration”

Women's Day celebration has taken place on 9th March in room no. 12.

 


6th March 2026 (8th March to 14th March) “NSS state level leadership camp

At Chitrakoot in which Palak Banitkar of B.Sc 1st year Biotech represented St. Mary College, from 6th  March to 14th March.

 

 

March “NSS Unit camp session 2025-26 Venue-Vill. Pairwara”

 

 

NSS 7 days special Unit camp has organized at village Pairwara (10 kms) from Vidisha as per guidelines of MP state govt. Dept. of Higher Education & Coordination NSS BU Bhopal. 

During  inauguration  session Director Fr. Sinto  inspired  volunteers and the efforts  taken by  them for  personality  development & encouraged them that  these camps are  important  to life  to known  about  others  which  help  in their  self-discipline& Development.

Dr. Sachan awared volunteers about Digital awareness & shared his experiences about digital fraud. Sr. Prabhavati congratulated volunteers and blessed for the success of camp.

Senior volunteers inspired volunteers their responsibility & duties of being in NSS. Program stated with Lighting the lamp, prayer song, NSS song, putting tilak on forehead of all. Program was hosted by PO Prof.  Deepa Rathore, Prof. Arvind Dwivedi discussed the objectives, aims, schedule, and purpose of organizing camp under theme under “Youth for my Bharat and Youth fordigital literacy “. 

    

Project Work    

Ø  In campus and village and  campus following social activities and project work are done by volunteers

Cleanliness of Campus, Village, Street.

Ø  Drainage (Nali Safai) ,  Hand  Pump drainage Cleaning

Ø  Putting Flags and flux in campus and roll Cole, intellectuals session hall and cultural tent.

Ø  Removal of waste from surrounding area of campus.

Ø  Organized awareness rally Nukkad Natak for Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, drug abuse, voter awareness, child protection, HIV aid awareness, cleanliness, child labour, digital literacy, digital banking, women safety, measures, environmental protection, cancer awareness.

   

 Intellectual session 

    Volunteers were motivated by guest during intellectual session under following heads-

Ø  Digital awareness during net banking comma digital literacy, cybercrime cyber security and skill development

Ø  Awareness for volunteers towards responsibility in society and Nation as well as institution and family.

Ø  Personality development, self-discipline.

Ø  NSS GK certificate of NSS campus of NSS and awards of NSS.

Ø  Women safety, Career counselling, artificial intelligence.

Ø  Organic Farming, Hydroponics, Aerofonix Mushroom Culture.

Ø  Environment awareness drug abuse Nasha Mukt.

Ø  Wall painting with slogans of awareness.

Ø  How to make pollution free environment through agnihotra.

Ø  Ayurvedic therapy vaat pit and cough.

17th Feb 2026 “Cancer Awareness & Women safety & cyber security seminar”

 

Cancer awareness & women safety program was organized by NSS unit, where key note speaker were Mr. SiddharthGautam Green circle gp Leader & Mr. Bhupendra Sharma Traffic police Vidisha. Dr. Sachan in welcoming session said “like this programs help in the awareness  of women safety & Life caring Mr. Siddharth explained how  cancer is caused by plastics, Drugs, Water bottles  & Tea used in polythene  in hospitals are major cause which are harmful for human, Mr. Bhupendra has shown safety measures for women how one hair  pin can save the life,  girls should not walk in desolate place,  updated photos on status, unknown video  callings should not be attended be aware of cyber-crime, cyber security. Step wise action for safety were shown. 

 


30th Jan 2026 “Mahatma Gandhi’s Martyrs Day”

 

Today Mahatma Gandhi Martyrs Day celebration has taken place at 11:00 am in college campus by keeping there after oath was delivered to all by Prof. Sourabh Dubey. All Staff along with about 200 students has taken Oath.

 

 

 

 

28th Jan 2026 “Joyful Seminar 2026 on Life Skill, Personality Development, Cyber Security at 10:30 am in Library Hall”

 

By Mr. Zion Shekhar & Ms. Amisha Raphael Seminar had taken place in coordination with NSS unit of college. Where key note speaker from Delhi Mr. Zion Shekhar & Ms. Amisha Raphael in presence of Director Fr. Sinto, Dean Fr. Joby. Sr. Prabhavati. Fr. Sinto blessed students that this type of seminars are helpful in one’s personality development, Mental focusing or in concentration of Mind and Cyber security students were motivated by short play, stories, there is no words to express affection /love towards others was main motto of seminar. In present Scenario how students are influenced by mobile and going away from Teachers & Parents, students were made away towards their duties & responsibilities, Program was hosted by Prof. Deepa Rathore.  About 400 students were benefitted by the seminar

 

 

 

26th Jan 2026 “Republic Day Celebration”

 

77th Republic Day Celebration has taken place with great joy & enthusiasm where program started with Flag hoisting by Director Dr. Sinto, Dean Fr. Joby & Principal Dr. Nalin Thapliyal Sir there after parade by NCC cadets after National Anthem patriotic songs, dance by NSS Volunteers & message Director & Dean.

 

All staff members along with Sr. Prabhavati and students were witness of Republic Day Certificates of cultural activities were distributed.

 

 

 

 

25th Jan 2026 “National Voters Day”

 

16th National Voters Day Celebration has taken place in campus by voters awareness message by Director Fr. Sinto, Prof. Deepa Rathore (PO NSS girls Unit) thereby followed by Oath delivery by Director Fr. Sinto at 12:00 PM.

All Professors along with PO Prof. Arvind Dwivedi and about 200 students were benefitted by Oath.

 

 

 

23rd Jan 2026 “Celebration of Vasant Panchami and Bose Jayanti”in room number 12 and Vidya Brahmi Kalp Sevan in room number 6 at 10:30 a.m.

 

In order to boost memory and to reduce stress in youngsters Vidhya Brahmi Kalp medicine Sevan has taken place in room number 6 organised by Shri shakal digambar Jain Samaj Vidisha. There after Basant Panchami was celebrated under guidance of director by NSS volunteer by lighting the lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati. Importance of Basant Panchami (Ritu) and reason behind celebrating Basant Panchami was said by Prof. Arvind Trivedi, prof. Saurabh Dube , Dr. Sachan, Dr. Ramanand Mishra and at the same time “Netaji Subhash Chandra BOS Jayanti” and contribution of Boss for freedom was inspired by prof. Arvind Dwivedi.  Program was hosted by prof. Deepa Rathore (PO of girls unit), Sr.Prabhavati , Dr. Giriraj Singh, Dr. Dinesh along with staff members and about 70 students were present.

 

 

16 Jan 2026 “Visit to Jail by NSS volunteers”

 

At 12:00 PM NSS and NCC students under guidance of director fr.Sinto visited Jail to know about the life of prisoners and for awareness program. Where NCC students played at on drug abuse and poetry by Aman Dangi was facilitated by all students were made aware about the working process of jail and the visited jail Prof. Arvind Dwivedi sad forgiveness is the best and highest religion. Fr.Sinto in his message said that we should love service and sacrifice with all.

 

 

12th Jan 2026 “Yuva Diwas Celebration” Surya Namaskar Diwas”

 

Massive Surya Namaskar has taken place in Auditorium as per instruction of Vidisha Dist. Administration and there PO Prof Arvind Dwivedi along with volunteers joined for Surya Namaskar and at 10:00 am Surya Namaskar has taken place in Basket Ball ground where students along with professors followed steps of yoga & Surya Namaskar under guidance of Mr. Prakash Abhyankar & Prof. Deepa Rathore.

 

 

9th Jan 2026 “Hospital visit and rally on Nasha Mukti”

 

Under “Swasth Yuva, Swasth Bharat & Nashamukti society” Awareness rally on Nashamukti was organized by NSS volunteers & B.Sc. 1st year students in dist. hospital on 9th Jan at 12:30 pm.

 

 

6th Jan. 2026 Swami Vivekananda Jayanti “Yuva Saptah”

 

As per guidance  of  higher  education  MP  “Seva Saptah” is to be celebrated  on the occasion  of swami  VivekanandaJayanti in the form of Yuva Utsav. NSS volunteers of college celebrated Yuva Utsav Saptah on 6thJan , 2026. 

 

 

 

4th Jan. 2026 “One Day Camp to Udaigiri & Sunpura Village “Environment Conservation Day” 

 

One day camp of  NSS Volunteers had organized at Sunpura Village and Undaigiri (historical place Udaigiri), Where volunteers came to know about working process panchayat, govt schemes for rural development, Administration structure, real life style of Villagers organic farming. There volunteers came to know about rural development, Infrastructure improvement & Social welfare, Cleanliness, Water conservation, Employment & Social development.

 

On the same date on 04/01/26, Prof. Vipul explained about environment conservation, Local Tourism & Comprehensive development of Jungle Resort in Udaigiri. This camp was knowledge enhancing Inspirational, beneficial for the upliftment of overall knowledge and Environment development.

 

 

 

 1st Dec. 2025 “World AIDs Day Celebration” 

 

St. Mary’s P.G. College celebrated World AIDS Day by organizing an awareness programme in collaboration with the District Hospital AIDS Control Committee and various city institutions. HIV/AIDs Celebrated in Dist. Hospital on 1st Dec. at 9:30 am with Rally from Hospital to Gandhi chowk by Dist. Hospital Administration & NSS.

 

 


26th Nov. 2025  “Constitution Day Celebration”

 

Constitution Day Celebration has taken place in camp by NSS, NCC in coordination with Azeez Premji foundation where Anukriti from foundation made aware students about constitution, its importance and rights & duties of Citizens.

 

 

 

15th Nov. 2025 “Tribal Pride Day Birsa Munda Jayanti & Blood Donation Camp”

 

Birsa Munda Jayanti was celebrated in Audio Visual Room at 10:30 am with Joy & giving tribute to Lord Birsa for his unbelievable dedication & sacrifice towards tribal region & worked against Britishers for the benefit of tribal by professors and students. His dedication is a pride in the history of India.Thereafter Blood Donation program started in Library Hall.

Certificate was given on the Spot by Dist. Hospital Blood for Blood donation.

MP foundation Day Celebration has taken place in college campus at 1:00 PM. MP Song, Important facts of MP were discussed. About 200 Students and Staff has taken Oath for the benefit of Cultural & Environmental development of state.
